The Eyjafjallajökull Volcano

The Eyjafjallajökull Volcano is a combination of a smaller gletsjer (Jökull) and the 1666 meters Volcano Guonasteinn. Before the recent 2010 eruptions, the Eyjafjallajökull Volcano erupted in 1821 and this lasted until 1823.

The Webcam on the page is pointed to the south direction. Close by this Volcano lies a much larger volcano, called Katla, which erupted last time in 1918 and Geologists experts indicate that this volcano erupts every 40-80 years.
